Generally a mid-water fish found schooling in deeper water.
Eating
Provides a very soft white flesh.

General
The fish tend to get smaller the further north you go,butterfly perch tend to hang around a drop off or large cave but this is not always the case.

Fishing
Not normally caught due to their small mouths.

Spearfishing
Not normally speared unless in competitions.
