Mokohinau Islands

Fishing
A great place to target large Snapper and large Kingfish. The pinicales have schools of Trevally and Koheru. Other species such as John Dory and Hapuka are targetted as well.

Scuba diving
A really good location often with great visability and deep drop offs as well as lots of species of fish. Be aware of the depth and the current at the locations.

Spearfishing
For experienced spearfishermen you can't beat the Mokohinau Islands on a good day. Deep pinicles weedlines and big schools of fish make for wonderful spearfishing.
