Look in any shallow sandy/muddy bays as there’s a chance you’ll find some, Marlborough Sounds is a great place to look along with the Abel Tasman and Tasman Bay.

Scuba Diving
When in season, scallop diving becomes the standard last dive of the day for most scuba divers.
